LDI and Rep. Lyons Conducting Town Hall Meeting on Storm Preparedness in Marrero

What:    District 87 Town Hall Meeting on Storm Preparedness

The Louisiana Department of Insurance (LDI) and Rep. Rodney Lyons (District 87) are conducting a Town Hall Meeting to help constituents prepare for the upcoming hurricane season.

Trained specialists from LDI’s Office of Consumer Advocacy will provide information on:

  • Homeowners insurance policy components, including coverage limits, exclusions and deductibles
  • Practical storm preparedness advice to minimize and avoid risk
  • Evacuation and loss of use
  • Navigating the insurance claims process
  • Filing a complaint with the LDI
